GGG: The Androids
Introduced: Chapter 16.
The first set of androids androids are the creation of the genius president of Terra, Kino Tsumuji. Before he forcefully took power from Mishima (killing him in the process), he created the first three androids, conveniently named #1, #2, and #3. They were more or less test subjects for the android line, which he plans to use as his main defense. The first three were made with a whole machine core, based on the mobile suits and other mecha. Their faces and skin were made with canvas, as to have them appear more realistic. However, the first three lack soul or intelligence, and relied on their super computer for tactics and intuition. Once Rantmon destroyed the super computer for his own plans, TM made short work of the androids due to his technique, Zero Slash. SSJ took care of the last one, #3, coming from behind and killing it before it could kill Amiko.
Introduced: Chapter 19.
The Gemini Project, Androids #4, #5, and their fusion, was never finished creation of Kino Tsumuji. The version seen in the story lacks any intelligence, artificial or otherwise, and are never able to speak. They were upon completion before Kino was fired by Mishima for his previous failure, and thus remained without a "brain", so to speak. However, now that Kino has gained position as the president, he seeks to complement them and later androids with a super computer team, soon to be revealed in the story...
The androids are not complex characters at all. They have no motivation, no choices, and no will to rebel. They are puppets to Kino Tsumuji, their creator, to protect him against his unskilled and drastic opponents. While more androids will be created later, only a few will ever come close to acting like a living person.
